Event Campaign | Print & Digital Design - Shillington London Student Brief

THE BRIEF

For this brief, the BFI were holding a series of film festivals based upon different genres of film, and we were asked to create a dynamic layout using a fold, alongside roll out for a campaign promoting the festival on London's Southbank.  I chose to design around the Indie Wood genre, and having watched many of the movies being shown at the festival, I was able to brainstorm and mood board ideas based upon some of the themes found in these films.  The  characters in the Indie Wood genre, often have unexpected events happen to them, with surprising outcomes, so I wanted to include a sense of surprise into the design, using the fold and also an unconventional typesetting style to portray these subjects.

Key Themes:Unexpected mistakes are sometimes meant to be, Heartwarming, transformation, surprise
